Cutting Down Rain-Forests

"Man has eaten meat for hundreds of thousands of years. It is our right to clear rainforest to have room to graze cattle."

There is no doubt that humans have consumed meat since we began to walk upright.

However, the Earth is a finite place, and while it may have been able to support 300 Million human beings hunting full time for food, it is struggling to provide enough food for 7.5 billion of us, even with modern agricultural practices.

In fact, arguably, it is enough of a burden on Planet Earth to provide a vegetarian diet for us, let alone attempting to grow enough food to feed all the animals that we might consume.

For example, we destroy over a football field of rain-forest every second to provide the land and food supply for animal agriculture.

It is time to consider dramatically reducing our consumption of animal flesh. Vegetarians have long been advising us on this fact. It’s even healthier for our bodies too!
