Yes, admittedly, one person changing their behavior makes very little measurable difference on a global scale.
However, when you compound a tiny effect over 10’s or 100’s of millions of individuals, well now, each of you can be part of change that protects and restores the ecosystems of our precious planet.
Moreover, ignore the nonsense offered by the fossil fuel spin-doctors — they’re happy to place doubt in your mind with statements like:
- “Hey Leonardo DiCaprio is flying all over the world making films, so why should you care?”
- “It’s not us here in North America or Europe, it’s the massive growing populations of China and India that are burning coal and polluting our planet… get them to change first”
