Yes, 20,000 years ago, the population of humans was minuscule compared to the number of wild animals available to kill for food, so humans were just another top predator in a healthy ecosystem.
However, today, with a population of 7.5 Billion people, we simply cannot continue to hunt and kill wild animals for food.
Large predator fish, small fish, wild birds, deer, antelope, moose are all endangered due to hunting and territory loss.
Imagine what would happen if several billion of us picked up a rifle and went out into the wild to hunt ducks — how long would this species last — a week perhaps ?
It is time to stop killing all wild animals.
